Supporting COVID-19 relief with dry food donations

During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Kottaramulla United Welfare Society (KUWS) took proactive steps to support the community's most vulnerable members. Recognizing the severe economic hardship caused by lockdowns, our Board of Trustees organized a dedicated relief initiative to distributeessential dry food rations. Through the generous cash contributions of our society members, we were able to provide immediate food security to numerous families, ensuring that no one in our community had to face the crisis alone.

COVID-19 பெருந்தொற்று காலப்பகுதியில், வாழ்வாதாரம் பாதிக்கப்பட்ட மக்களுக்கு உதவும் வகையில் கொட்டாரமுல்ல ஐக்கிய நலன்புரி சங்கம் (KUWS) பல்வேறு உலர் உணவுப் பொருட்கள் வழங்கும் பணிகளை முன்னெடுத்தது. எமது சங்கத்தின் அறங்காவலர் சபையினால் ஒருங்கிணைக்கப்பட்ட இந்த நிவாரணத் திட்டத்திற்கு, சங்க உறுப்பினர்கள் நிதியுதவிகளை வழங்கினர். இந்த நிதிப் பங்களிப்பின் மூலம், ஊரடங்குச் சட்டத்தினால் பாதிக்கப்பட்ட பல குடும்பங்களுக்கு அத்தியாவசிய உலர் உணவுப் பொதிகள் வழங்கப்பட்டு, அவர்களின் அடிப்படைத் தேவைகள் நிறைவு செய்யப்பட்டன.
