Empowering the community through sustainable livelihoods, the Kottaramulla United Welfare Society (KUWS) launched a dedicated initiative to provide sewing machines to low-income families. In collaboration with a prominent local NGO, we carefully identified and selected hardworking individuals who lacked the resources to start their own businesses. By providing these essential tools, we have enabled these families to generate a steady income from their homes, fostering financial independence and long-term economic stability within our village.

குறைந்த வருமானம் பெறும் குடும்பங்களின் வாழ்வாதாரத்தை மேம்படுத்தும் நோக்கில், கொட்டாரமுல்ல ஐக்கிய நலன்புரி சங்கம் (KUWS) தெரிவு செய்யப்பட்ட பயனாளிகளுக்கு தையல் இயந்திரங்களை வழங்கும் திட்டத்தை முன்னெடுத்தது. இலங்கையிலுள்ள ஒரு அரச சார்பற்ற நிறுவனத்துடன் இணைந்து செயற்படுத்தப்பட்ட இத்திட்டத்தின் மூலம், சுயதொழில் வாய்ப்புகளை உருவாக்கி தத்தமது வீடுகளில் இருந்தே வருமானத்தைப் பெற்றுக்கொள்ளும் வழிவகை செய்யப்பட்டது. இத்திட்டம் எமது சமூகத்தில் உள்ள குடும்பங்களின் பொருளாதார வளர்ச்சியை உறுதிப்படுத்துவதில் முக்கிய மைல்கல்லாக அமைந்தது
