Providing Cooked Meals for Flood Victims

Recognizing that flood victims were unable to cook due to displaced kitchens and lack of dry firewood, the Kottaramulla United Welfare Society (KUWS) launched a dedicated cooked meal program. On the first day of the crisis, our society independently arranged and distributed hot lunches to those affected. To ensure sustained support, we then worked in close coordination with the Kottaramulla Board of Trustees and other local organizations to collectively prepare and distribute fresh meals throughout the emergency period.

வெள்ளத்தினால் பாதிக்கப்பட்ட மக்கள் சமைக்க முடியாமல் தவித்த நிலையில், அவர்களுக்குத் தேவையான சமைத்த உணவுகளை வழங்கும் பணியை கொட்டாரமுல்ல ஐக்கிய நலன்புரி சங்கம் (KUWS) முன்னெடுத்தது. அனர்த்தத்தின் ஒரு நாளில் எமது சங்கம் நேரடியாக மதிய உணவுகளைத் தயாரித்து வழங்கியதுடன், ஏனைய நாட்களில் கொட்டாரமுல்ல அறங்காவலர் சபை மற்றும் ஏனைய பொது அமைப்புகளுடன் இணைந்து தொடர்ச்சியாக உணவுப் பொதிகளைத் தயாரித்து விநியோகிக்கும் பணிகளில் பெரும் பங்களிப்பை வழங்கியது.
